the current 09 series seems to ve both england and austarlia poised equal but the current series has more odd numbers to sort with.the england team has only one centurian in 4 matches and that has been the captain himself andrew strauss. but the odd number is here. the visitors had 4 in opening match with katich skipper ponting marcus north and wicket keeper batsman brad haddin.then next match saw a rescue innings of a century by vice captain clarke who missed his century by 17 runs in 1st match. the 3rd saw a century from clarke again which saved the test for aussies with north missing his 2nd ton by 7 runs. the 4rd had north again with good contribution from ponting and clarke.. so it saw a total of 7 centuries with just 1 from england's side..
and the batting ave of 5 aussies is above 50and its 1 from english side.
